Safety Relief Valve for Very Low Temperature Applications
Cryogenic valve is similar to spring-loaded/compact valve. It is a self-actuated safety relief device which acts with the aid of a spring assembly that is designed to open at a predetermined pressure. The spring-loaded valve includes conventional, balanced-bellows, and balanced-piston types.
They can be used for applications where the operating temperature is very low. For instance, for the handling of liquefied nitrogen, oxygen, etc.
